Pearl Masters Custom Snare 24K Gold Plated Hardware 14 x 6 1/2 New Remo Heads. Maple Shell in Emerald Green MMX-4ply/4ply rings. Hardware is plated in 24k gold.

This drum was a special order from Pearl. Snare wires, rods, lug casings, rims and snare mechanisms all plated in gold. Heavy cast weight rims, not flanged hoops. Shell is Emerald Mist Green. I cleaned this up, put a small amount of white lithium grease on the tension rods and polished the hardware with a chamois after a warm bath in a mild cleaner recommended by Pearl.

This is my personal opinion, but I would say the bearing edges are 10/10, the shell finish is 9+/10 and the hardware is 8-9/10. The hardware does have very minor surface imperfections, 50% may or may not polish out with the proper polish, the other minor surface imperfections are in the finish I didn't want to risk a aggressive cleaning, but from what I've read some use gold polish and buffers. The bottoms of the snare guards do have wear from sitting on a shelf for an unknown number of years. Brand new Remo Coated Ambassador on top, new Remo Ambassador Snare on bottom (minor scuffs on bottom head, it wasn't stored in a box). Snare throw isn't smooth when engaging snares, throws off smoothly.
