This vintage Omega Constellation chronometer dates from circ 1970 & features the celebrated ESA / Bulova patented f300hz tuning fork quartz movement, a 18k gold plated stainless steel case, original Constellation observatory case-back and original Omega crown. The watch is supplied with a vintage gold tone Speidel flex strap and an Omega travel case. The tuning fork watch is like no other battery driven watch, or mechanical for that matter: it is driven by a tuning fork vibrating at 300-720 times a second, depending on the model; as a result, it doesnt tick, but hummms. The index mechanism also means the tuning fork watches are characterised by a constant sweeping seconds hand.

Movement - Quartz - Omega Cal. Date display at 3 o'clock. Case - Good - Minor dings / signs of use. Dial - Good - Slight fade towards centre.
