Christopher Ross is internationally renowned for his limited edition finely sculpted animal belt jewelry and fashion accessories. Christopher Ross created the finely "sculpted" , very life-like , 24kt gold-plated "crouching" panther belt buckle presented in this listing, along with its ivory cream python snakeskin strap. Large jungle and mountain cats are my personal favorite wildlife animals - panthers top the list. The 261 gram specimen offered here is in immaculate and/or near pristine condition. So much so, that I would describe its condition as museum quality as Mr Ross' designs are displayed in museums in New York and Virginia as well as in a New York Fifth Ave public library.

The pictures shown here really don't do this buckle its' due justice. (8" x 2-5/8 " x 2-1/8) - (LxWxD) and Ross uses an exotic signature form in addition to a traditional signature.

He makes use of a very distinctive and unique thumbprint signature - ingenious! Both the thumbprint and his written signature can be found on the underside of the buckle along with its 1985 production date. Other listings for this belt buckle include a black python belt strap; this belt buckle however, when found, had an ivory/creamy color python skin strap which is included in this offering. It is 38 " in length and 1-3/8 " in width with a single hole punched 4-1/2 from one end. High end fashion, haute couture, statement piece, showstopper.
