A rare and truly collectable, at the same time wearable, piece of optical history. Produced in the 1960's by legendary Bausch Lomb USA, later known as Ray Ban USA (Italy), gold filled frame, with industrial sapphire crystal lenses. With proper markings: "BL" incised on the lenses near hinge, painted Ray-Ban logo (vs the later laser incision on the newer models), and "B Ray-Ban USA" stamped on the nose bridge.
